Queer without Fear Exhibition – 23rd July 2025
Would you like to attend an exclusive event aimed at documenting and celebrating queer joy in Coventry?
While celebrating the success of previous queer events, this exhibition will showcase the work of our resident photographer Gerald (@iamroyalart), and fellow trustee of Coventry Pride, through photographs of past events organised by Coventry Pride, Coventry Trans Pride, and the wider UK Pride community.
This exhibition is an opportunity to collaborate and champion new ideas of how we can work together to support LGBTQIA+ community in Coventry.
Location: This event is due to take place on 23rd July 2025, 1-4pm at Richard Crossman Building.
Meet at The Yard at 1pm and we will have a drink and lead you over to the exhibition space.

Attendance is free, but we welcome donations that will go towards Coventry Pride 2025, happening on the 9th August 2025.
Exhibition Title: Queer Without Fear: Pride in Who We Are
Queer Without Fear: Pride in Who We Are is a photographic snapshot of queer life through Pride, people, protest, and performance. This series documents moments from Trans Pride Solidarity, Coventry Pride, and the queer punk scene capturing a defiant spirit that thrives in both celebration and resistance.
From glitter and protest signs to DIY trans gigs and street parades, these images reflect the power of queer visibility and the freedom found in taking up space without apology. This is queerness as community, as protest, as art and as truth.
It’s about showing up, standing out, and being seen without fear.
