Statement on Trans rights by Coventry Pride:
Coventry Pride condemns the deliberate attack made by the Prime Minister about the Trans Community this week at the Conservative Party Conference.
His decision to make this attack only serves to endanger lives and further alienate people who are already fearful of their future.
It plays into the hands of the far right in our nation, where Trans people are protected by law.
Use your voice. Write to your MP. Use the trans flag on your social media pages in support. Connect with local peer groups Coventry Transgender Club and Survivor Sanctuary Cov Plus.
