Coventry Pride is searching for a small team of volunteers to support Pride activities in 2022. The annual Pride event is currently planned for June 2022; volunteers will be expected to begin promoting and organising the event from March 2022.

We are seeking the following specialisms from within and external (eg allies) to the LGBT+ community with the following skills:

• Team management 
• Facilities management
• Marketing
• Social Media
• Event Management
• Arts Production
• Disability / Access
• Customer Services
• Operations 

We hope to find up to 20 individuals to join us in key roles, in readiness for Pride 2022.

Each volunteer will have a set role with clear responsibilities.

Although all roles are unremunerated, all volunteers will have backstage and/or VIP access to all Pride events, as well as access to any relevant perks or opportunities provided to the Pride Board during their tenure.

The deadline for applications is Friday 21st January 2021

Interviews for the available positions will take place either via zoom or in-person at a central Coventry city location, from week commencing Monday 7^th February until Friday 25^th February 2022. Interviews will last no longer than 30 minutes and will be undertaken by the Chair – Paul Desson-Baxter and Vice-Chair, Nyasha Daley.

All applicants will be advised of outcomes by close of play Friday 25^th February 2022. All Trustees will be officially announced and appointed from Monday 7^th March 2022.

Volunteer inductions will take place week commencing Monday 18^th April 2022; date and location to be advised. The inductions will be an in-person event, unless otherwise advised.
