It’s a bumper Pride this year. Here we summarise everything that’s happening!
Prep for Pride, Saturday 7th August, 2 pm – 6 pm The Treehouse, Assembly Gardens
For those of you concerned about big events, or looking for a warm-up event, we are taking over the Treehouse at Assembly Gardens.This is a walk-in event and is FREE to attend.
2 pm – 3 pm – The Relaunch – Coventry Pride “coffee mornings”3 pm – 4 pm – Free time in the Treehouse4 pm – 5 pm – Queer Book Club5 pm – 6 pm – Out in the UK. Support for refugees and migrants who are LGBTJoin us for as much or as little as you like
Pride & Joy at Assembly Festival, 11 am – 7 pm
Performances are taking place in various locations throughout the day at The Assembly Festival Gardens.
Find us around Coventry City CentreJoin us for a free screening of Pride and some LGBT+ short films at Coventry Cathedral, 2 pm – 4 pmThe Yard is hosting a celebration stage, 3 pm – 9 pm
What do you need tickets for?Tickets for the Pride screening at the Cathedral are FREE and available via the City of Culture website
Tickets for Ginny Lemon are FREE and available via Assembly Festival
No tickets are required for the celebration stage at The Yard.
Assembly Festival events including Diane Chorley, Live at Pride and My Father the Tantric Masseur are NOT FREE. Again tickets are on the Assembly Festival Website
Pride at Assembly Festival Gardens (Access to Gardens, Piccolo, and Treehouse) is FREE but currently full. Walk-ins may be available at the door
