Coventry Pride has announced new appointments within its Trustee Board, following its Annual General Meeting, held at Coventry City Council house on Monday 28th October 2019.
Martin Pink, appointed to the Trustee Board in April 2019, succeeds Paul Desson-Baxter as Chair of the Board. Paul will remain on the Trustee Board, for a further three-year term, having received a unanimous vote from all present. Commenting on the change, Desson-Baxter said: “I have been proud to serve as Chair and Trustee for Coventry Pride for the last four years. I look forward to seeing what we can deliver going forwards for the LGBT+ community of Coventry.”
Commenting on his appointment, Pink said: “I’m pleased and proud to have been appointed as Chair of Coventry Pride; it’s also excellent news that Paul will remain a valued and essential part of the team within his role as a Trustee. I am looking forward to building on the fantastic foundation established by Paul and the wider team, taking Coventry Pride from strength to strength.”

Treasurer: Chris Spreadbury, Support Worker & Seasoned Activist
All appointments take effect immediately.
